My experience in selling has been in the retail field. I made the move to outside sales looking for a change and a new challenge. The training has been very good and very helpful to me in feeling comfortable about the products when I first went out on the road. Also, the weekly conference calls letting us know about the up and coming improvements and tools is a great continuous training tool.
The first day was a learning experience in how best to present all the materials so that I could get in, get the statement, get some numbers and make the sale. My first sale was a clear advantage with the imager and pin pad. I have talked to the merchant since, letting him know about some of the up and coming products that we have coming that maybe of interest to him.
I was able to help him save money, time and opened up avenues to increase his customer base. This is what I like to do, help people solve thier problems to everyone's satisfaction.
